Birthing… yourself?
December 29, 2020
Q: How far back (how many generations) does my mother wound go?
A: The lap of misery cradles many human beings so the distinction of mother wound is almost universal. All have been affected to one degree or another by their mother’s experience and what that brings into their own experience of being reared. The universal “problem” of trusting divine timing and power to steer one properly and not lead one crashing into waves and rocks is difficult but again universal. The mother energy required of us is to bring life and energy to our own souls and the mission lighted up by our life energy. Giving birth is active and yet is easier when not fought but allowed permission to let things work themselves out as nature designs. Push, rest, breathe is the cycle but allowing the fact that change/birthing is inevitable is important to one’s soul’s intactness. The more we fight, the more we try to hold back and keep things the way we were—the more challenges to the mother’s and baby’s health. Work with the midwife of time and push and breathe and rest. And birth and birth again the mysteries of life and love that only wish to multiply and enrich your inner life and people it with blessings and trust that has proven itself over and over again. To resist is to die. To not change, to not comply, to not revolutionize is to become stupid, tired, unenergized and unmotivated. Love the tribulations of labor pains for you are working with the universe to beget a better future for yourself. You are begetting a better version of yourself each time…. stronger, more resilient, more assured, more seen and heard, unmoveable, a force to be reckoned with… and in this way of forever birthing and not stagnating in the ordinary and comfortable, you reach a form of immortality. Your life essence lives on, ever escalating to higher depths. To stand still is to die.
Background, Synchronicity, & Integration Corner:
I don’t know about you but I thought the word immortality a bit strong. Like, umm, really? But the next day, December 30 (which is when I’m writing this addendum) I was listening to a podcast on my way home from work that used the word in the context of the legacy we leave behind. One of the hosts was talking about all the things that his mother (now transitioned) created and left behind that are still serving the world. I love the synchronicities that the Akashic Records brings to all who look for them.
You can listen to that episode of Spiritually Hungry by clicking HERE.
Also, I started listening to the Molly McCord episode, “Weekly Intuitive Astrology and Energies of Dec 30 to January 6, 2021” and it also touched on the importance of rest but yet always moving forward. That episode can be heard HERE. I haven’t finished the episode yet so who knows what further synchronicities await!
