Subbing out the Work

Q: Should I sign up for the DayLuna 10-day Human Design course in Costa Rica?

A: No, the answer to collecting and consolidating information is not to be found in purchasing time belonging in part to someone else if the goal is to learn and solidify concepts. For you this is to be attained through daily application and consistency, not in a one-time bulk purchase—a commodity to be sold. The issue is in practicing, not in giving away or sub-contracting the work in a mini retreat. The allure of an exotic location, spiritual people, and being cared for and having an “excuse” to do these is one in which you need to consider the why and whether you are giving your power unconsciously. Not all learning of course is under-selling yourself and your soul’s innate wisdom, but the pay-off here would not be worth the cost/investment once all was said and done. Better to take that money and invest in yourself in other ways that you aren’t feeling inferior/triggered by others. This would not be a place of empowerment for you. Stand ready, willing to hear another call when it comes—one that will be in better alignment for you and your soul’s purpose/calling. Trust that this is not said to limit your or hinder/impede your opportunities for fun and adventure, but rather, position you better financially when the “right”/better opportunity comes along.

Q: Is there something about the instructors that triggers me that I should look at and learn from?

A: The answer to becoming self-sufficient in one’s journey/task in in allowing one’s unique journey to blossom naturally in its own time and place. Not all flowers bloom at the same time nor flourish in the same places. Don’t wish your journey looked more like someone else’s with acclaim and talent and money/resources, but, rather, grant yourself space to bloom in your own timeline, in your own way. Wishing to be more like someone else is foolish, like a tulip wishing it were a rose. Each is beautiful and part of the divine creation and, as such, one with each other.
